Property: Newly built private residence (approx. 4,500 sqm including gardens)
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Hours: 40 hours per week (including weekends/public holidays on rotation)
Salary: €45,000–€65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Holiday Entitlement: 26 days per annum
About the Role
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced or Senior Housekeeper to join a prestigious UHNW private family at their principal residence in Munich, Germany.
This beautifully appointed new-build estate spans approximately 4,500 sqm including landscaped gardens, requiring meticulous upkeep and the highest standards of presentation. The household operates with discretion, structure, and professionalism, and seeks a housekeeper who embodies the same values.
This is a hands-on role within a team of three housekeepers, reporting to the House Manager. The successful candidate will be proactive, independent, and confident working within a refined private environment.
Working Structure

40-hour working week (including weekends and public holidays as part of a rota)

If weekend work is required, days off will typically follow on Monday and Tuesday

Key Responsibilities

Professional cleaning and detailed care of high-end furnishings and luxury interiors

Exclusive laundry and wardrobe care, including delicate fabrics such as silk and cashmere

Specialist maintenance of premium finishes including marble, granite, slate floors, and parquet

Occasional preparation of breakfast and light, fresh, healthy meals (a cook is employed)

Coordination and supervision of external trades and contractors

Running household errands including grocery shopping, dry cleaning, post and deliveries

Driving for household-related duties

Managing and organising two housekeepers (scheduling, weekly planning, holidays)

Budget responsibility for household errands and supplies

Service support for private dinners and events when required

Additional responsibilities aligned with seniority and experience
Candidate Profile

Proven professional housekeeping experience within UHNW private residences, luxury yachts, or 5-star hotels

Demonstrated longevity in previous roles with outstanding, verifiable references

Fluent in English and German

EU passport holder (essential)

Full, clean driving licence

Strong IT confidence

Strictly non-smoker

Discreet, dependable, and highly responsible

Comfortable remaining hands-on even in a senior position
