About the Role

Prestige People is delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Nanny to join a warm, well-structured private household based in Newbury, Berkshire, caring for three school-aged children (7, 4, and 3 years old).

This is a beautifully balanced role suited to a professional who thrives in a dynamic family environment. Childcare remains the primary focus; however, during school hours the role transitions naturally into light household and family support.

Working closely with a hands-on mother and alongside existing household staff, you will contribute to a calm, organised and harmonious home.

This position is ideal for a nanny who enjoys being fully engaged in family life while maintaining professionalism, discretion and polish.

Key Responsibilities

Childcare & Development (Primary Focus)

Providing attentive, nurturing care for three school-aged children
Managing school drop-offs and pick-ups
Supervising after-school activities and routines
Supporting homework, reading and educational development
Encouraging social, creative and physical growth
Assisting with mealtimes, bath time and evening routines
Acting as a trusted and dependable support to the mother

Household & Family Support (During School Hours)

Assisting with light household duties in coordination with the housekeeper
Supporting simple family meal preparation
Maintaining tidy, organised communal spaces
Running errands and family-related tasks
Managing children’s laundry and wardrobe organisation
Occasional assistance with the family dog

The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience as a Nanny or in a hybrid nanny-household role
Confident caring for multiple school-aged children
Warm, professional and discreet in manner
Highly organised, proactive and adaptable
Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset
Polished and well-presented
Driving licence essential
Flexible and travel-ready
