About the Role
Prestige People is representing a private principal seeking an experienced Stable Manager to oversee a private equestrian facility based in Baghdad.
This is a senior, hands-on role requiring full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the stable, ensuring the highest standards of horse care, organisation, and operations.
The role will also involve sourcing high-quality horses internationally and building a strong, professional team within the stable.
Key Responsibilities
- Full management of stable operations
- Ensuring the highest standards of horse care and welfare
- Recruiting and managing a professional horse trainer
- Overseeing staff and daily routines within the stable
- Managing supplies, feeding schedules, and general upkeep
- Sourcing and acquiring high-quality horses from Europe
- Maintaining organisation, structure, and efficiency
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience managing private stables
- Strong knowledge of horse care and stable operations
- Experience sourcing or purchasing horses internationally
- Leadership and team management skills
- Organised, proactive, and hands-on approach
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
