About the Role

Prestige People is delighted to be recruiting an experienced Domestic Couple for a beautiful private estate in Platres, Cyprus.

This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a mature, dependable couple who take genuine pride in caring for a private home and estate and are looking for somewhere they can settle and become trusted members of the household.

The roles naturally complement one another. One position will focus on housekeeping, cooking and the day-to-day care of the family home, while the other will take responsibility for the grounds, property maintenance, security and practical estate support.

The family is particularly interested in a couple who have worked together previously and understand the discretion, flexibility and sense of ownership required within a private household.

Housekeeper & Family Cook

The Housekeeper / Family Cook will take responsibility for maintaining a beautifully presented and welcoming home.

Responsibilities will include:

• Daily housekeeping to an excellent standard
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
• Preparing fresh, healthy home-style meals
• Grocery shopping and household supplies
• Household organisation
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming residence
• Occasional guest hospitality
• Anticipating day-to-day household requirements

You should be a confident home cook with previous private household, villa, hotel or similar high-standard experience.

Caretaker, Groundskeeper & Property Support

The second position will focus on the wider estate, grounds and practical operation of the property.

Responsibilities will include:

• Daily oversight and care of the estate
• Maintaining gardens and outdoor areas
• Basic security and property monitoring
• General handyman duties and minor repairs
• Monitoring household and technical systems
• Coordinating contractors when required
• Deliveries, errands and practical household tasks
• Identifying maintenance issues before they become problems
• Supporting the family wherever practical assistance is required

Previous experience within estate maintenance, gardening, property care, security or a similar hands-on position would be ideal.

A valid driving licence is required for this position.

The Couple We’re Looking For

Above everything, the family is looking for the right personalities.

You will be a mature, calm and dependable couple who are discreet, trustworthy and genuinely interested in establishing a long-term position.

Previous experience working together within a private household, estate, villa or luxury hospitality environment would be particularly attractive.

You should both be comfortable working independently, taking initiative and treating the property with the same level of care and attention you would give your own home.

Candidates already based in Cyprus are very welcome, although experienced Domestic Couples wishing to relocate from overseas will also be considered.
