About the Role
A lovely private household in Purley, South London is seeking a professional and reliable live-out housekeeper to join their home on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, warm, and enjoys keeping a home running smoothly.
The family is looking for someone who is confident with all aspects of general housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and occasional light cooking—ideally vegetarian meals. You will also be responsible for running errands, including grocery shopping, and must be a confident driver with your own car or ability to drive the family vehicle.
Key Responsibilities

General housekeeping: living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms

Laundry and ironing

Light cooking – vegetarian meals preferred

Running errands and shopping for groceries

Keeping household stocked with essentials

Occasional help with organising wardrobes, tidying, and daily upkeep

Maintaining a clean, warm, and welcoming environment
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a housekeeper in a private household

Excellent organisational and time-management skills

Confident, independent, and discreet

Must drive – clean UK driving licence required

Able to cook simple, healthy meals (vegetarian preferred)
