About the Family & Household
This role is based within a highly respected, fully staffed UHNW household in one of Dubai’s most prestigious neighbourhoods.
The family includes:
- British/Middle Eastern principals
- 3 young children (5-year-old boy, 3-year-old girl, 7-month-old girl)
The home is professionally staffed with:
- A senior nanny and additional nannies
- Two chefs
- Two drivers
- Multiple housekeepers
- House Manager/PA
- Household runners
The environment is structured, fast-paced, and requires exceptional professionalism, warmth, and adaptability.
Role Overview
The Butler will support the principal both in Dubai and internationally, focusing on lifestyle management, travel logistics, presentation, and high-level service.
This is a hands-on role requiring excellent organisation, calm efficiency, and strong service etiquette. The position involves significant global travel — including 3 months per year in California, 2–3 weeks in the South of France, and frequent business trips across the UK, Europe, Asia, and the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level butler and valet service for the principal
- Pack, unpack, and manage all luggage and travel items
- Accompany the principal on frequent international trips
- Coordinate logistics, travel transitions, and hotel arrangements
- Serve meals and beverages to high standards
- Assist chefs with meal service when required
- Run errands, personal shopping, and sourcing items
- Drive the principal using luxury vehicles
- Cook simple meals when needed
- Maintain immaculate organisation of wardrobe and personal items
- Work collaboratively with the House Manager/PA and wider household team
- Ensure exceptional standards of discretion, presentation, and professionalism
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Butler, Valet, or Travelling Butler within UHNW households
- Strong passport with visa-free or easily obtainable access to US, UK, EU & Asia
- Ability to travel frequently and for extended periods
- Maximum suitability for an active, physically demanding role
- Strong service etiquette and polished presentation
- Comfortable driving luxury vehicles
- Confident cooking skills (basic-to-intermediate level)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- UK or Western experience preferred
- Discreet, respectful, and able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Works well within a formal and fully staffed hierarchy
Recruitment Process
- Profile shortlisted and reviewed by the principal
- First-stage video interview
- Second-stage meeting with Managing Director & Executive Assistant
- Final in-person interview with the principal (flights can be arranged)
