About the Role

Prestige People is delighted to present a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and nurturing Nanny to join a warm and welcoming private family based in London.

The role will focus on the care of two children — a 4-year-old boy starting school in September, and a newborn due in June. The family will initially have the support of a maternity nurse, allowing for a gradual and well-supported transition into caring for the baby.

This is a long-term position suited to a professional who is confident caring for both young children and newborns, and who can create a calm, structured, and engaging environment.

The family is seeking someone warm, easy to have around, and naturally proactive — a nanny who can take ownership of the children’s routines, wellbeing, and development while working collaboratively within a well-supported household.

Key Responsibilities

Childcare

Providing attentive and nurturing care for a 4-year-old and a newborn
School drop-offs and pick-ups
Organising activities, playdates, and outings
Supporting after-school routines, including homework and development
Managing dinner, bath, and bedtime routines
Encouraging educational development through play and structured activities

Household & Child-Related Duties

Preparing fresh, healthy meals for the children
Maintaining tidy and organised children’s spaces
Managing children’s laundry and wardrobe
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the children’s routines

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience as a Nanny within private households
Confident caring for both young children and newborns
Warm, engaging, and able to build strong relationships with children
Organised and proactive, with the ability to take initiative
Able to create structure and routine while maintaining a calm environment
Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the family
Happy to travel occasionally
Excellent references from previous roles
