About the Role
A busy and welcoming private household is seeking a part-time housekeeper to help keep their home running smoothly. This role requires a professional, trustworthy, and adaptable candidate with a keen eye for detail and the ability to stay organised in a dynamic family environment.
The home includes seven bedrooms (five currently occupied), and the successful candidate will work alongside another cleaner who attends once a week to make up all the beds. Hours are typically 9am–1pm or 9am–2pm, but flexibility is needed for occasional longer shifts—for example, after a weekend event or party.
This is a long-term position where you’ll become familiar with the household routines, supporting a very busy, private family.
Key Responsibilities

General cleaning and upkeep of the home

Organising and maintaining household spaces

Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, living spaces, and kitchen

Coordinating with the additional cleaner who attends weekly

Laundry and occasional ironing

Ensuring beds are fresh and well-presented (assisted by weekly cleaner)

Adapting hours as needed following events or busy weekends

Running small household errands when required
Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in a similar housekeeper role (private household preferred)

Organised, reliable, and discreet

High attention to detail and a proactive approach

Able to work efficiently in a busy environment

Excellent references from previous positions
