Hours: Approximately 9am–5pm/6pm, with flexibility
Salary: £22–£25 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: One weekday per week, day negotiable

About the Role
Prestige People is delighted to be recruiting an experienced Part-Time Housekeeper / Household Assistant for a lovely private home in Chalfont St Giles.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the broader side of household support and takes real satisfaction from leaving a home organised, prepared and running beautifully.
The family already employs a cleaner, so this is not a traditional cleaning position. Instead, you’ll focus on household maintenance, laundry, organisation, meal preparation and those important day-to-day tasks that make a busy home run effortlessly.
The property is a well-maintained four-bedroom, three-bathroom family home, and the client is looking for someone reliable and proactive who can become a trusted long-term support.
Key Responsibilities
- Laundry, ironing and steaming clothing
- Keeping wardrobes and household items organised
- Simple meal preparation
- Stocking and organising the fridge and cupboards
- Keeping an eye on household supplies
- Watering and caring for household plants
- Emptying bins and dishwasher
- General household organisation and upkeep
- Identifying anything that needs replenishing or attention
- Helping ensure the home is organised and prepared for the week ahead
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is naturally organised, dependable and happy to work independently.
Previous private household experience would be ideal, alongside excellent laundry and ironing skills and confidence with straightforward meal preparation.
You’ll be someone who notices what needs doing without waiting to be asked and takes genuine pride in making a household feel organised and cared for.
