About the Role
A prestigious private household in Kensington, London is seeking a high-end housekeeper with exceptional attention to detail. This role is perfect for a candidate experienced in caring for fine furnishings, antiques, delicate clothing, and silverware to the highest standards.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who takes initiative, understands the needs of a high-profile home, and works with discretion and professionalism at all times. The household is home to two adults and includes pets (dog walker provided), so being pet-friendly is essential.
A laundress attends 2–3 times per week, so the focus will be on meticulous cleaning, organising, dusting, and high-quality household presentation. Light breakfast cooking is occasionally required in the mornings (such as avocado and eggs).
Key Responsibilities

Daily cleaning of all rooms, ensuring the home is immaculate at all times

Specialist care for antiques, delicate clothing, and fine furnishings

Silverware cleaning and polishing

Organising wardrobes, storage, and household items

Dusting and maintaining high-value surfaces and finishes

Occasional light breakfast preparation (e.g., avocado eggs)

Coordinating with laundress for laundry and linen care

Maintaining a pet-friendly home environment

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience as a high-end housekeeper in a private household

Excellent knowledge of caring for antiques, fine clothing, and silverware
