Prestige People are searching for an experienced, proactive and trustworthy Part-Time Housekeeper to become an important part of a warm and welcoming family home in the beautiful Hampshire countryside.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys taking pride in their work, has an exceptional eye for detail, and loves creating beautifully organised, immaculate living spaces.

The Role

Working approximately 20 hours per week (ideally over 3–4 days, with flexibility for the right person), you’ll take ownership of maintaining this substantial family home to an exceptional standard.

You’ll become a trusted part of the household, ensuring everything runs smoothly and the home always looks its absolute best.

Your responsibilities will include:

Maintaining impeccable cleanliness throughout the home
Laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation
Changing beds and managing household linen and towels
Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces
Deep cleaning on a rotational schedule
Keeping cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas beautifully organised
Monitoring household supplies and reporting when replacements are needed
Preparing guest accommodation when family or visitors are staying
Occasional light meal preparation and simple home cooking
Cleaning and caring for a separate outbuilding including a gym, kitchen and bathroom
Supporting with general household duties as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work.

You’ll be naturally organised, discreet, reliable and able to work independently without needing constant direction.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous housekeeping experience including references (private household experience highly desirable)
Excellent attention to detail
A proactive approach with the ability to spot what needs doing
Confidence working independently
A positive, friendly and professional manner
High standards of cleanliness and organisation
The right to work in the UK

The Home

This is a large, well-maintained country home set in beautiful surroundings near Otterbourne, Hampshire, with additional outbuildings that form part of the estate.

The family are looking for someone who will become a long-term, valued member of their household team.

The Package

Location: Otterbourne, Hampshire

Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week

Working Pattern: Ideally 3–4 days per week (flexible)

Salary: Approx. £459 per week (equivalent to around £22/£23 per hour) – DOE

Accommodation: Live-out

Start: As soon as the right person is found
